2026 Notts AAA Summer League
The Notts Amateur Athletics Association summer league races are free to all KADS who have an up-to-date EA membership.
You'll also need an official KADS vest or T shirt, available from our club store.

All races start at 7.15pm
Race 1: 22nd April - Sherwood Pines-NG21 9JL
Race 3: 17th June - Wollaton Park, Lime Tree Ave, Nottingham, NG8 2AE.
Parking is at Worksop College (Cuthberts Avenue, S80 3AL). Please follow the parking Marshalls direction and pull DIRECTLY in to a parking space. Please DO NOT reverse park in to spaces as this causes delays getting cars in to the field and then we end up with cars backing up on to the main road. In the unlikely event of car parking running out, the nearest residential street is down Sparken Hill and parking on the side roads. Approx one mile warm up jog to the start. Please park respectfully.
Toilets will be available in the changing rooms pre-race so please make use of them AND NOT the school school grounds! Also there are NO DOGS allowed on the school grounds. There will be a water table at the finish line
The course is unchanged from recent years so approx 4.5 miles, 90% road with a small amount of trail just before mile 4 as you head towards keepers cottage and then veer left across Worksop Golf Course and along the outside of Worksop College (please be mindful of any exposed tree roots here!) before back on to road of Windmill Lane. Road shoes recommended.
Race 5 - 12th August - HP Country Park, Adbolton Lane, NG12 2LU.
Presentation: There will be a presentation as soon as possible after the race finishes for the winning teams and individuals. This will be outside (if it's not raining) near the blue seats close to the Reception area.
Refreshments: The bar will be open at NWSC selling beer, wine and soft drinks. Card payments are preferred please.
Headphones: No headphones please as the race is on open roads.
Water: There will be no water provided during/ after the race so please bring your own water.

- Payment for the car park is only by the RingGo app.
- Please do not park on adjacent residential roads as parking enforcement is operational.
- There is no water at the finish. Please bring your own if you need it.
- The start and finish will be at the same place as last year on the front lawn. The course is just under 5 miles.
- The last mile is the first mile in reverse.
- Please use the existing park toilet facilities in the park. We have requested that the courtyard toilets be open to avoid queues at the cafe.
- No temporary structures such as club gazebos please.

- Parking: Parking is past the main entrance of the National Water Sports Centre, off Adbolton Lane. A new ANPR system has been installed so please follow the signed instructions in the car park regarding payment. Parking will now need to be paid via https://parkpcm.co.uk/index.php ParkPCM - pay by phone parking -ParkPCM - pay by phone from Parking Control Management (UK) parkpcm.co.uk - location 4455. This can be done at any time, no need to wait to do it when you get there!
- Please do not park on Adbolton Lane itself as doing so obstructs the course.
- Toilets: Portable toilets near the start and toilets next to the boat house and in reception.
