Rat Race - Man Vs Coast
Recommended by: Zoe Attenborough
Briefly Tell Us About the Race Format
Breathtaking 23 mile route takes in high cliffs, brooding moorland, picture-perfect beaches, crashing waves, big swells, rough-hewn rocks, water jumps, short swims and a few cheeky surprises. This is one for the adventurer who wants to make a weekend of it.
What Kind of Race Is It? Trail Race
What Distance is the Race (roughly)? Marathon
Why Do You Recommend this Race?
This has to be one of the best adventures I've been on so far in my running life. The settings are simply stunning and worth all the effort. Jumping off some of the cliffs is nerve wracking but worth the refreshing dip. Its hilly, sand gets everywhere but simply this race is stunning and as always rat race put on one heck of an event!
What Month Does the Race Take Place? July

Wolf Run - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter
Recommended by: Zoe Attenborough
Briefly Tell Us About the Race Format
The Wolf Run is Wild Running - a unique combination of three kinds of off-road running: mud runs, trail runs and obstacle runs. Voted the best OCR in the UK, it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes & thick mud.
Running in a pack, or as a lone wolf, you’ll tackle a series of tough obstacles - both man-made and natural - designed to test your mental & physical strength, skill and stamina. You’ll run, climb, jump, wade, crawl and swim through a course designed to challenge you on every level.

Wolf stands for , Woods, Obstacles, Lakes, Forests so i'm sure you can guess whats involved :) ! The finisher tops a second to non in quality and always very striking designs !
