Why Do You Recommend this Race?
This was a surprise find of a race, its two lots of 10km around the muddy trail course, you can opt to do the AM or PM or Both :) ! Its a brilliant run with brilliant Marshals and bling and if you're lucky enough to do the double you get a little trophy as there are only around 26 that do this. The winners prizes are also very generous ! The company that runs this race is also a non for profit and most of what they make goes back in to the race and the athletes.

Peak Raid 3
Recommended by: Dan Nightingale
Briefly Tell Us About the Race Format
It's a series of 3 hour timed explorer events at various locations in the Peak District. At the start you 'dib your dibber' and they give you a map with control points all over it. You then have to pick which ones you are going to go for (each scoring different points) and you pick your own route. Can be ran as a solo or pair.
What Kind of Race Is It? Other (tell us about it below)
What Distance is the Race (roughly)? Variable (Double or Quits etc)
Why Do You Recommend this Race?
Great way to enjoy the Peak District and see places you didn't even know existed. There is no mass start or race vibe and since it's a timed event its as easy or as hard as you want it to be (a few people even walk it).
However, as per all my favourite running events, there's a light buffet at the end.
When Does the Race Take Place? Other (Pls Describe Below)
Where is the Race (nearest town) Various locations across the Peak District
Any more info (web links, course description etc)?
Distance is however far you feel like running in 3 hours.
Events are in various dates during Autumn & Winter.
The next one is 12th January in Calver
