5k PB - 33:20 10k PB - 1:09:52 Half - 3:11:11 But I'm typically happiest on a club night plodding along and enjoying a natter around 7:30-9:00/km pace. Favourite race or proudest running moment My favourite races are the x-runner Xtreme obstacle races, I've done a 10km wild mud run and 10km water wipeout and they are the most fun I've had running 10km! My proudest running moment is surviving Belvoir Challenge. It was 15 miles of mud, rain, and hail and I've never been happier to cross a finish line! An interesting bit of info When I'm not running, you can find me on a badminton court, trying to write up my PhD in biomechanics, on the Xbox, or watching Netflix! 5km 21:50 10km 46:50 HM 1:47:00 Still fairly new to running so no idea if I'm going to get any quicker as I'm getting older. Favourite race or proudest running moment As I'm still fairly new I've not done many official races, my best times have all come from training runs. My favourite medal is the Robin Hood HM though. An interesting bit of info I love nature, if I have any spare time I'll be out walking fields and woods. I play guitar and I'm unpopular with my neighbours (the two things may be linked). |

Happy to have snuck under 45 mins for 10k in 2019 and hoping to take 15 secs off the 5km time to get under 21 mins. Will run at a variety of paces on club nights, providing I can keep up, but I'm partial to the odd hill so sometimes give an option of a few hill repeats on map runs. Favourite race or proudest running moment I enjoy the winter XC season and the odd fell race. An interesting bit of info Before life happened I played a fair amount of rugby and did a Sports and Exercise Science degree, but never managed to use it. I then spent the intervening years eating cake until.... I started running in Jan 2017 and joined KADS in Oct 2018, so still consider myself as newcomer to the sport. |

Depends on specific race targets, so I aim for 22mins for 5k, around 45 mins for 10k. I do try to keep the emphasis on enjoyment though! Favourite race or proudest running moment My favourite race is The English National Cross Country Championship. Everyone should run "The National" at least once, the experience is something else! An interesting bit of info I have had the great honour of being a former Captain of this wonderful club. I love listening to music, especially live performances. I also love the history of our sport and being inspired by the great athletes of the past and the present. I occasionally drink beer! |

It really depends on the type of training or event…I’m proud to have run a sub-20 5k and sub-1:30 ½ marathon and enjoy pushing myself at club/league races. At most club training runs I’ll run with a mix of groups with pace usually ranging between 7:30 - 9:30 minute miles. Favourite race or proudest running moment Since joining KADS in 2018 and getting the running bug I’ve developed a passion for off-road trail, XC and fell running events. My proudest moments so far include running 100km in 24 hours at Equinox24, completing the Maverick Peaks (a 29 mile trail event in the Peak District) and taking part in a number of fell runs including Hope, Brassington and Ashover with fellow KADS. An interesting bit of info When I’m not running you’ll find me watching NFL (Go Falcons!), trying new craft beers or real ales and spending time with family & friends. I usually try to aim for about 8 to 9 min miles, sometimes I even manage to stick to this aim. PBs 5k 23:41 (long term goal is to get below 22) 10k 48:52 half 1:48:35 marathon 4:02:17 (will have to run another soon and get that sub 4) Favourite race or proudest running moment I’ve been running since 2014, but only joined the club in 2019 and have really enjoyed running the XC races. I remember being massively happy the first time I went under 25 mins for a 5k (I was running in Ireland in about 2016 near where I grew up, always feel like I run well there). My proudest moment was finishing my first marathon In Belfast in 2019, I always said I’d do one before I was 30 and managed to with one week to spare. An interesting bit of info I will watch almost any sport with my favourites being Gaelic Football (Tir Eoghain abu) and NFL (go Pats). As well as running I play Gaelic for St Joes in Derby and attempt to play golf. I also like to play the guitar, listen to vinyl records and play video games. |

5k is usually done in around 34 mins, 10k in about 1 hr 7. Starting to enjoy running without worrying about the time it takes Favourite race or proudest running moment Proudest moment was first finishing Couch to 5K - never thought I'd now have ran a 10 mile race with a half marathon coming up. |

I've managed a 5K in just under 18:30 mins, but am usually a minute or two slower. Favourite race or proudest running moment I enjoy most races but my proudest moment was crossing the finish line of the Zermatt-Gornergrat Ultra. The race is a 28 mile uphill marathon, with a finish over 10,000 feet in the Swiss Alps. It took me 18 months of training and I lost 20Kg of weight in that time, so I was absolutely made up when I managed to get over the finish line in just under 6 hours. An interesting bit of info I once fell off a motorbike at around 90mph. Thankfully it was at Mallory Park racing circuit and my protective gear did the job so all I got was a football-sized bruise on my backside! 5k PB 29.42, 10k PB 1.03, HM PB 2.33 all set last year. Social run pace 10-11 min mile but much slower in summer... I much prefer cold and rain! Favourite race or proudest running moment Fave races so far include Round Sheffield run, Pud run, Rushcliffe 10k, Hairy Helmet relays, Tough Mudder, cross country and anything else that involves mud and/or obstacles! An interesting bit of info Little known fact... I have a black belt in Shotokan Karate gained when I was 15. And at a majestic 5'1" have represented Derbyshire at Volleyball (u17). To be honest I'm better at most sports than I am at running 😂😂 |

5km PB: 18:41 10km PB: 39:45 HM PB: 88:06 Marathon PB: sub 3hrs10mins Really chuffed to have achieved these times this year (2022) in my 40's when I thought I might be past my prime. Whilst my racing pace is around 6 to 7 min mile pace, my everyday running pace is generally a couple of minutes slower - 8 to 9 mins per mile. Favourite race or proudest running moment In the last two to three years I've achieved so many amazing things. However if I really think about it, my proudest running moment was running my first marathon in 2007. I wasn't part of KADS then so I was doing all my training on my own. I think there is something really special about the marathon distance and to just cross the line is a big achievement. An interesting bit of info I have 3 kids all primary school age so they tend to keep me busy and along with that I also work full time so I find running is my way to have some me time and de-stress. |

Varied!! 5k PB 20.07 10k PB- not sure HM- 1.36 something Never done a proper timed road marathon (and have no intentions) I love off road running so its not so much about pace Favourite race or proudest running moment I had a great 2019 and won various prizes at events around the country. My proudest running moments are twice finishing the West Highland Way Race and coming second in the Ring of Fire Ultra (actually finishing it was glory enough!!) An interesting bit of info I run a local physio clinic in Kimberley and treat running injuries as a special interest Strava Link https://www.strava.com/athletes/3066918 |

5k: 19:41 10k: 42:25 Half: 1:40:02 Marathon - TBC, hoping to finally finish my 1st Marathon at Boston (UK) in April 2022! Favourite race or proudest running moment My favourite race so far is the Turkey Trot half marathon. The course was challenging but very scenic and it was really well supported by all the small Leicestershire villages it passed through. My proudest running moment so far is the Leicestershire half marathon in 2020, managing to beat my PB by 1:30 mins despite a 30mph headwind at mile 9 mentally breaking me. However, if I ever get to run a Marathon, that will eclipse this! An interesting bit of info I'm a videographer and photographer by trade, so if I'm not racing expect to find me trying to get some sought after "flying feet" pictures for your Strava profiles! I'm not great at pacing 5k, but generally do this in around 24-25 mins, 23 mins is my PB. My half marathon pace now sits reasonably comfortably under 2 hours, PB is 1:49. I generally run social runs at 9:30-10:00min/mile but am comfortable pacing anything around 9:00min/mile and I'm always happy to be a pacer, during training or racing (racing I am more confident at hitting 8:00min/mile pacing). Favourite race or proudest running moment Proudest running moment is initially running my first ever ultra marathon, the Nomad 50k in June 2018, but since then I've become an Equinox convert and was extremely proud of achieving 9 x 10k laps in Sept 2019. An interesting bit of info I have two huskies - they usually get me talking about dogs and how much I love them. Failing that, I'm a massive gamer, love video games as well as board games! Second to that would be running my first marathon in London 2018! Third Man Vs coast in Cornwall by rat race, soon to be my third time doing this come 2022! An interesting bit of info about you.
