The North Midlands Cross Country League
Each winter between October and January the club takes part in the established North Midlands Cross-Country league, which has been running since 1946. The league is open to all athletic clubs from Leics, Derbys and Notts, so brings together a varied set of runners from across these counties.
To run in the North Mids XC league you need to be a member of KADS, to have paid for the current year's EA membership and you will need a club vest or T shirt to run in on the day of the race. There's no need to register or pay for each individual event, you just turn up on the day and run with your fellow KADS. Like other cross-country events, we suggest using trail or (even better) spikes, especially on the muddier courses (most of them!).
For more information on the North Mids XC league, take a look at the league's website.
