Looking through my own strava you could see Monday 4:30pm I'm usually out running 5km with my Golden Retriever Stanley.
You can see the times when I cycled in Italy, biked over the Golden Gate bridge (to name a few).
But who else can see this?
It's easy to forget that Strava is also social media like Facebook and Instagram. Some of us may have followers from years gone by, or friends of friends. Would you trust them to know these details?
Here is just some tips on how to check your privacy settings on Strava:
- Regularly check your followers. Delete any you are not happy with knowing these details.
- Set Strava to hide your start and ending of runs.

- Set your account to private

If you think something is dodgy, or a follower you haven't accepted starts following you- report it. There is a chance your Strava could have been hacked (and we're not used to hearing Strava being hacked are we?)
