KADS Archive Newsletters: The Blister
Back in the days before the KADS Chit Chat Facebook group, Strava and WebScorer, KADS had the 'The Blister' newsletter. This profiled members and shared information about races, recipes and books. They're a fascinating insight into KADS of that era, many of whom still run for the club. Click on the thumbnails below to read a PDF version of each newsletter.

This is the first edition of The Blister. The contents include:
- A profile of Ray Johnson, a prolific veteran marathoner and member of the Everpresent Group.

Feb 2010
This was the second edition of The Blister. The contents include:
- A profile of Helen Woods aged 30 with a marathon PB of 3:21 (and she's got significantly faster since!)
- Walking routes around Hodsocks Priory in North Notts
- An Alf Tupper comic strip
- A review of the 'La Transbaie' race across the Somme Bay in France which KADS attended several times (there's also a Black Toe newsletter about this race)
- A KADS Quiz and answers to those in the previous newsletter
