We are a one size fits all kind of club, appealing to both the social and competitive side of running.
Speed is not an issue as we have a wide variety of runners however we do ask that you can run a distance of 4 miles. If you a complete newbie we recommend completing the NHS couch to 5k app so you have a base to start with.
Club members are made aware in advance that trialists are planning to come along for a taster session so expect a warm welcome.

Another Goose Fair Gallop Success!
KADS are proud to host our established 10Km race each autumn, the Goose Fair Gallop! This year's race was another sell out and took place on Sunday 13th October 2024 on the stunning Bennerley Viaduct which straddles the Nottinghamshire-Derbyshire border.
Next year's Gallop will take place on Sunday 12 October 2025, pop it in your calendar! The entry process starts in the late spring. To ensure you secure a place, please like and keep an eye on the Goose Fair Gallop Facebook page so we can let you know when entries are open.
The event is well marshalled by our club members and we aim for you all to have a great time. We are also excited to announce that next year we will have a fun run named the Duct Duct Goose fun run. Again check the race's Facebook page or the Goose Fair Gallop website for the latest information.

The Colliers Wood Canter
KADS are proud to present our established monthly event, The Colliers Wood Canter.
Named after its location at Moorgreen, a few miles west of Nottingham, the club gives runners the option to run either a 3 Km or 5 Km route.
The event is organised and well marshalled by members of our club who devote their free time to ensure that the Canter's legacy lives on.
Working with the local community
We are very proud to working closely with our community.
We work with our neighbouring communities with Colliers Wood, Bennerley Viaduct, Kimberley Cricket Club and Eastwood Foodbank just to name a few.
We host chip cob runs throughout the year which are always a huge hit, and we love to arrange a cracking social night!!
If you have an interest in working alongside our club please get in touch.
