Welcome to Kimberley & District Striders Running Club!Thinking of joining a running club? Here's some quick info about KADS:
- we usually train in Kimberley (Nottinghamshire) on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7pm
- we meet at either the Kimberley Institute Cricket Club or NHS Health Centre on Newdigate Street - anyone who is 18+ and can run three miles is very welcome - we alternate between a social run (choose between roughly 3, 5 and 7 miles) and 'structured' sessions - all our sessions are geared up for all abilities, there is zero pressure on pace - we encourage all prospective members to try us out a few times for free As we're not always in the same place for training, please use the button below to email our club secretary to arrange your first session. Let them know your name, and the date you'd like to join us (on a Tue or Wed). |
40 Years of KADS - 1985 to 2025
We held our 40th anniversary party on 14 June 2025 at the Stag Inn in Kimberley. It was very well attended by members old and new and was a real celebration of four decades of running and friendship. For videos and photos of the day, click here.

The Colliers Wood Canter
KADS are proud to present our established monthly event, The Colliers Wood Canter.
Named after its location at Moorgreen, a few miles west of Nottingham, the club gives runners the option to run either a 3 Km or 5 Km route.
The event is organised and well marshalled by members of our club who devote their free time to ensure that the Canter's legacy lives on.
Working with the local community
We are very proud to working closely with our community.
We work with our neighbouring communities with Colliers Wood, Bennerley Viaduct, Kimberley Cricket Club and Eastwood Foodbank just to name a few.
We host chip cob runs throughout the year which are always a huge hit, and we love to arrange a cracking social night!!
If you have an interest in working alongside our club please get in touch.
