Kads Handicap Series 2023
Kads Handicap 23rd August 2023Tonight was the conclusion of the Handicap Series 2023.
Well done to everyone that has taken part in The Handicap 2023 series. A huge thank you to Race co-ordinator Dan Lewington and to those that have helped Marshall and take names and times this series, all help is welcome. A big well done to our August winner Chris Laban who has returned to the club in fashion these last few weeks. Completing the podium was another returning runner in Llyod Andrews and Club favourite Nic Chamberlain. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2024. |
Kads Handicap 18th July 2023As the summer progresses the weather seems to be getting worse?
This month witnessed a turnout of 18 runners with some leaving it until the last minute to turn up and try and throw the competition off course...not literally. This months winner was Natalie Brown with a very impressive performance and looked strong coming over the finishing line. Heading back in 2nd place was ever present Chris Chandler and wrapping up the podium spots in 3rd was Ryan Stocks with yet another impressive performance.. although he'd probably not agree. Thanks again to Race Director Dan and his support team of Mark, Micky, Michael, Sam and Aston. Let's have a big push for the final Handicap of the series in August. |
Kads Handicap 29th June 2023Round two of the handicap had a drizzle in the air and the sky was grey but the race itself wasn't a washout.
A total of 22 runners braced themselves for round two, with 9 making their first start of the 2023 Handicap series. This month witnessed another handicap debut winner, this time in the form of Glen Mcilreavy. He was followed by Gaz Taylor in 2nd and rounding up the podium was Club stalwart Matt Whitmill. Lastly a thankyou to Race Director Dan and his support team of Ryan, Aston, Michael, Mark and Micky. Next Handicap Tuesday 18th July 7pm start |
Kads Handicap 23rd May 2023The Handicap Series 2023 is finally underway and what a great way to get things started.
A total of 29 runners headed over to the start at Watnall Farm shop for the first of four races in the series. It's always great to see the social aspect of the group come into play with the group chatting among themselves. On course was Dan race director, Aston time keeper, Mark and Daz on the turnaround and Aston and Mark on Amateur photography. A debut win on the night was for Francesca who was shortly followed by another debutant in Jodi. Steve Robinson-Day wrapped up the podium in third place. Thankyou to everyone for coming along and taking place. |
